  • Day 01
    Day 01    Lake Nakuru

    You will be picked from your place of stay in the morning at 7am to head to Lake Nakuru. On the way you will stop briefly at the Great Rift Valley view point for the view and take photos. After the break, proceed with your journey passing by Naivasha town; this is all part of the Great Rift Valley. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Arrive in good time, check-in into the hotel and wait to have lunch. Thereafter in the afternoon, you go for the evening game drive in search of wildlife. Later you be back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Sarova Lion Hill

  • Day 02
    Day 02    Lake Naivasha

    On this day you will have a very early morning game drive, come back to the lodge for breakfast and check out. You clear with the lodge and depart in the mid- morning since on this day it will not be a long journey. Arrive in Naivasha in good time for lunch. Later you can do a boat ride to Crescent Island. There is just one “Crescent Island Game Park” located on Lake Naivasha, in the Great Rift Valley. It is simply one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, often called Naivasha’s best kept secret.   • Day 03
    Day 03    Maasai Mara

    Depart after breakfast and drive south via Narok to the Mara reserve, you will be arriving for lunch. After lunch, you can opt to go for a brief afternoon game drive or rest. Masai Mara has incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek River. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. Dinner and overnight. Accommodation : Mara Intrepids ; Ashnil Mara ; Entim Mara

  • Day 04
    Day 04    Maasai Mara

    Early morning game drive at 0700hours, later we break for breakfast and on this day you will delve into morning and afternoon game drives with a break for lunch to experience the vast savannah, full of plains and wildlife. The Mara is well known for its annual migration which occurs in the months of August-September. This is not the only attraction as there are other animals mainly the big cats featured in the TV series “Big Cat Diary”. Later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight Ilkeliani Camp. Accommodation : Mara Intrepids ; Ashnil Mara ; Entim Mara

  • Day 05
    Day 05    Maasai Mara

    As the highlight of the safari, you can do a hot air balloon (optional and at an extra cost) and get to see the Mara from a bird’s eye view, on landing you will be served with champagne breakfast and after be driven back to the camp and you will see game on your way. Mid-morning rest; lunch and later afternoon game drive. In the evening drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the Camp. Accommodation : Mara Intrepids ; Ashnil Mara ; Entim Mara

  • Day 06
    Day 06    Maasai Mara

    As the highlight of the safari, you can do a hot air balloon (optional and at an extra cost) and get to see the Mara from a bird’s eye view, on landing you will be served with champagne breakfast and after be driven back to the camp and you will see game on your way. Mid-morning rest; lunch and later afternoon game drive. In the evening drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the Camp. Accommodation : Mara Intrepids ; Ashnil Mara ; Entim Mara

  • Day 07
    Day 07    Nairobi

    On this day, you will be dropped at the airstrip to catch your flight to Nairobi and upon arrival, you will be picked to be dropped at your place of stay. THIS MARKS THE END OF YOUR SAFARI

  • In the event of change in the value of the Kenyan Shilling against the US dollar by more than 5% by way of devaluation or currency fluctuation, Africa Calling Safaris may at its discretion increase the specified rates proportionately by the amount of such devaluation with effect from the date of devaluation.

  • Africa Calling Safaris may at its discretion by not less than one month’s notice in writing to the client alter the specified rates as result of new publicized 2015rates from suppliers (Hotels).
